Air pollution is a pressing health crisis in Nepal, where it is associated with approximately 48,881 adult deaths annually. Ethiopia also faces significant challenges, with over 25,000 deaths linked to poor air quality each year.

Malawi's rapidly growing cities are experiencing serious health issues due to deteriorating air quality, further exacerbating the situation.

In response to these alarming statistics, researchers from the University are providing tailored guidance to help these countries mitigate air pollution and cool their overheating streets.
